The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, released for Nintendo Switch and Wii U, is still popular even four years after its release. A software developer has created and released a map where you can enjoy the world of Zelda in the style of Google Maps Street View. It is an unofficial and fan-made work to the last.
The software designer (Nassim Software), who is also a fan of the game, thought of making a map of the world of Breath of the Wild that could provide 360-degree views from anywhere. This is where the project to create a Zelda version of the Street View site began.
The method was taking screenshots of the game using the WiU emulator and MOD. In order to reproduce the street view that can be seen in one place, he looked around, took screenshots, and connected them to fit.
The Google Maps style map, which was completed through such mapping and coding, is being released on the site. On this site, you can enjoy a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view by visiting the places marked with blue dots. Of course, because it is handmade, the branches are limited. Since it is difficult to continue such a project alone, other fans are also appealing to provide additional screenshot data, etc., and an inquiry form is being prepared.
The sequel to Breath of the Wild is scheduled for release in 2022, and a new video showing the gameplay has also been released. Related information can be found here.
