Missing Snow Chairman Ma Win, officially appeared in 3 months

Ma Yun, founder of Alibaba Group, who disappeared from the official seats after November 2020 and was suspected of purging by the Chinese Communist Party, attended an online event held on January 20, 2021. As a result, Alibaba Group’s stock price surged.

The rumor of Chairman Ma’s disappearance began to come out around the beginning of January 2021. He disappeared from the official seat after attending the recording of the last episode of a TV program that was suddenly scheduled to appear in November 2020. The official Twitter account was also in a state of unknown news because the last post on October 10, 2020 was not updated.

Right before his disappearance, Chairman Ma said that Chinese financial regulations hindered technological innovation and needed reforms for economic growth. During a meeting involving financial giants and government figures, the theory emerged that Ma’s disappearance was caused by Chinese authorities. Reports came out that this remark was an opportunity to cancel the IPO of Ant Group, which operates Alipay, an electronic payment service under Alibaba, and reports that Ma Yun disappeared afterwards.

However, on January 20, 2021, President Ma Yun broke his silence for three months and attended an online event for rural teachers held by a charitable organization he provided. On January 10, he showed himself in less than 50 seconds and visited a school that received Foundation support.

He did not mention the disappearances in the video, but mainly about charitable activities related to education. Using his experience as an English teacher before the establishment of the Alibaba Group, he announced to 100 teachers that he would focus on philanthropy in the future.

Chairman Ma’s reappearance in public places was a boon for investors, and Alibaba Group’s stock price has soared 8.5% in the Hong Kong market and 5% in the US. Related information can be found here .

Through the monthly AHC PC and HowPC magazine era, he has watched 'technology age' in online IT media such as ZDNet, electronic newspaper Internet manager, editor of Consumer Journal Ivers, TechHolic publisher, and editor of Venture Square. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
