Medical gowns open sourced by outdoor brands

Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx has teamed up with local health authorities and partners to develop a recyclable medical gown. In early April, a team of sewing managers, engineers, sample makers, and pattern makers gathered to produce 500 medical gowns to solve the shortage of supplies faced by local medical workers. Currently, it aims to produce 30,000 sets, and a partner company (Mustang Survival, Boardroom Clothing) is planning to produce 90,000 medical gowns.

In addition, the gown pattern, design, and technical specifications were released for areas suffering from shortages of manufacturers and supplies. It also included a DXF format drawing pattern and a method of acquiring MDEL for a medical device installation license sold by a manufacturing gown supplier. Related information can be found here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
