Google has announced that it will extend support for Windows 7 in the Chrome browser for half a year, continuing until January 15, 2022. Although the support period was set until July 15, 2021 at the beginning of this year, it was considered the possibility that the schedule would be delayed as the corporate IT department response was added in response to changes in the working environment and working from home due to Corona 19.
More than 10 years have passed since Windows 7 appeared, and Microsoft’s extended support period has already ended on January 14, 2020. However, paid support is still being provided and is expected to continue until January 2023. According to a Google survey, 22% of companies using Windows still use Windows 7.
