Apple Music Will Be Available on Google Assistant Speakers

Google announced on December 7th (local time) that Apple Music will be available on smart speakers and displays supported by the Google Assistant.

Supported devices include Google devices such as Nest Audio, Nest Hub Max, and Nest mini released in October, as well as products with Google Assistant made by other companies. It can be used sequentially in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan.

To use Apple Music on a device that supports Google Assistant, you must first put an Apple Music account in the Google Home application. In the application, press the + button to select Add Service, Music, and Apple Music. Here, you can set Apple Music as the default music streaming service.

In this way, you can use voice to play songs according to genre, mood, or activity, and you can also operate multi-rooms that allow multiple devices to be linked in multiple rooms. Apple Music can already be used as smart speakers from other companies such as Amazon Echo and Sonos. Related information can be found here .
