Tesla is offering the latest holiday updates as OTA updates by the end of 2020. The update is said to include a feature called BoomBox.
Tesla said in its 2020.48.25 update release note that it will turn the car into a music box and entertain passengers with pleasant music when parking. This feature does not make the car audio sound loud in the vehicle, but allows the pedestrian approach warning speaker owned by Tesla vehicles manufactured after September 1, 2019 to be used like a boom box.
Some sound presets are included, and it is also possible to introduce up to five custom sounds to the USB stick. For example, it can be used in outdoor parties and camping. Sound playback can be used when driving at low speeds, parking or using the Summon automatic parking function. However, when using the boombox function, it must be avoided and local noise regulations must be observed. Also, the boom box function cannot be used unless an external speaker for warning of pedestrians is installed.
In this update, three other games that can be played with a touch screen are included, as well as screen improvements when charging the supercharger. Related information can be found here .
