Microsoft is developing new email app One Outlook?

There are reports that Microsoft is developing a new email application, One Outlook. One Outlook aims to solve the problem of distributing different versions of Outlook clients for Windows, Mac, and Web, and to provide a single Outlook client that can be used with all operating systems.

There are various versions of Outlook such as Outlook for the web, Outlook for Windows, and Outlook for Mac, and each works in different source codes. One Outlook is a new Outlook that is being developed with the goal of providing a common user experience and operating with the same source code regardless of operating systems such as PC and Mac, and it is also called Monarch within Microsoft.

The reason why One Outlook was discovered was due to external leakage. The initial version of One Outlook was hosted at a specific address ( https://monarch.azurewebsites.net/ ) and was available through Microsoft’s internal account.

One Outlook is said to include a desktop version of Windows, Outlook Web Access, and a desktop version of Mac in a new version of Outlook designed for a large screen environment. It also states that the version released in the instructions is for internal use only, that the Windows Defender Smart Screen can warn you even if you click the setup file, and there is no offline version.

Reportedly, Microsoft is scheduled to launch One Outlook preview in 2021. Related information can be found here .
