Razer announced a partnership with startup Clearbot to celebrate World Oceans Day. As a result, Clearbot completed a prototype that changed the black and clear AI robot for marine garbage cleaning, which was being developed.
The design was done by volunteers utilizing the experience of in-house designers. As a result, it is said that the AI can float on the sea and recover 250 kg by fully autonomous driving using solar power, and it is said that it can find garbage within 2 meters even in a ripple.
It is said that 11 million tons of garbage is discharged into the sea every year. Razer plans to launch a campaign (#GoGreenWithRazer) with a 10-year plan. The robot uploads photos of real garbage to a database to improve a new search algorithm. Razer has already started planting 300,000 trees and is setting a goal of 1 million trees in the future.
