Qualcomm announced the world’s first successful 5G communication with a millimeter wave carrier bandwidth of 200 MHz. This was performed using a smartphone type test device equipped with the Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF System announced in May and 5G network emulation developed by KeySight.
Bandwidth corresponds to road lanes. As the width increases, there is an advantage that the communication can be increased in capacity. Commercial terminals equipped with the Snapdragon X65 are expected to appear at the end of 2021. Related information can be found here.
