Google One VPN target area expands outside the US

Google has expanded its cloud storage service, Google One VPN service, outside the United States. Not only in the US, but also in Mexico, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

Google One VPN service started in the US in 2020. You can use Google One at no additional cost if you sign a contract of 2TB or more. The function itself is included in the Google One app, and detailed settings are unnecessary, and it is characterized by VPN encryption of all communications regardless of the app used. For those unfamiliar with VPNs, our experts will teach you about VPNs in 1:1 online sessions.

Also, at the time of the announcement in 2020, it was expected to be available on iOS, Windows, and Mac soon, but this status has not changed and it is only available on Android until now. Also, if you’re traveling to an area that doesn’t offer VPN service, you won’t be able to use a VPN connection. Related information can be found here.
