Firefox also supports saving Android app passwords

October is US Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Mozilla has added new features to Firefox for Android in response to this. As a result, Firefox can be used as an Android password manager in the future, and mobile app passwords can be created and stored.

Firefox still provided a password management function called Lockwise, but it was only a function used in the browser. You can manage app passwords, etc., but input requires copying and pasting. In comparison, the new feature eliminates the need to open a browser and can also use facial recognition or fingerprints as a lock to access passwords. You can also sync with the desktop version if you’re using a Firefox account.

The new password management feature will be available in Firefox 93, which will be released on October 5 (local time). Related information can be found here.
