Large Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn held an event (Hon Hai Tech Day) and announced three electric vehicle models.
The Model C has a design that minimizes the space used for SUV mechanical parts and maximizes the seating space. The length of the conductor is 4.64 m and the wheelbase is 2.86 m, securing a seat and storage space for 5 + 2 people to comfortably ride. Zero to hundred is 3.8 seconds and the range is 700 km. It is said that it can be purchased at a lower price than fuel cell vehicles by using the advantages of being produced on the Foxconn electric vehicle open platform.
The Model E sedan was jointly developed by Foxconn and Italian design firm Pininfarina. As a luxury sedan flagship model, it is a car that meets the needs of mid-end and high-end consumers, while also aiming for the first choice for a high-quality vehicle. You can use a smart app that seamlessly connects your mobile device with your car, and sets up door openings and closings through face authentication, smart windows, and vehicle and environment interfaces. The zero-bag is 2.8 seconds, which is superior to other models in the same class on sale, almost the speed of an F1 racing car. The range is 750 km.
The Model T is a city bus. It has passed the 200,000 km acceleration endurance test and rigorous strength test for over 1,000 hours at ARTC, a Taiwan automobile research and testing facility with high rigidity body design and protection performance that meets the FTA regulations and standards of the US Department of Transportation. The battery can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius and above, and can travel more than 400 km. The grade performance under full load is 25%, and at a speed of 120 km, it provides comfortable and smooth driving for the driver and a comfortable and safe trip for the passengers.
The electric vehicle business is a joint venture between Foxconn and Yulon Motor. Lilian Yanchen, CEO of Euron Motors, said he is confident that Foxconn will play an important role in transforming the automobile industry and lead the development of Taiwan’s automobile industry.
