Huawei P50 Pro with 200x zoom camera

Huawei announced the P50 and P50 Pro, the latest models in the P series, a flagship smartphone with improved camera performance.

The upper model, the P50 Pro, consists of four rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main, a 40-megapixel black and white high-sensitivity sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle. First of all, the P series is well known for its dual-lens high-definition cameras, but the P50 is a style that seems to resurrect a huge dual lens with two circles in the housing that encloses the rear camera and sensor. However, XD Fusion Pro, a computational photography technology that aims to overcome the physical limitations of the optical system by combining multiple camera inputs such as a black and white high-sensitivity sensor without color filters as well as a series of lenses with different magnifications, to achieve high quality do.

The main specifications are a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 2700×1228 and a 120Hz AMOLED, SoC is Kirin 9000 or Snapdragon 888 processor, RAM is 8GB or 12GB, and storage space is 128~512GB. The body size is 158.8×72.8×8.5mm, the weight is 195g, and the waterproof and dustproof rating meets IP68. The operating system is HarmonyOS 2, which is its own operating system instead of Android.

It’s not a pro, but the P50 has a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a slightly smaller 2700×1224 resolution, Snapdragon 888, 8GB of RAM, and you can choose between 128 or 256GB of storage. It measures 156.5×73.8×7.92mm and weighs 181g, and supports IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating. The rear camera configuration is a 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and 12-megapixel telephoto.
