CAVIAR is a Russian company that has been introducing luxurious IT retrofit devices, such as luxury iPhones and PlayStation 5 using 20 kg of 18K gold. This time, Samsung Electronics announced the Galaxy Z Flip 3, a foldable smartphone, with a Latin skull and rose theme, decorated with the Catrina Calavera.
This product was presented as a skull capsule collection to celebrate the launch of an innovative foldable smartphone in the IT industry. The whole theme reflects a Sunday Night Dream in Alameda Park, a huge mural painted by Mexican artist Diego Rivera. The skull at the center of this work is Katrina Caravera, which is also a symbol of the Day of the Dead.
The body is made of reinforced titanium with 18K white gold, and the skull and enameled roses are laser engraved. 1.5mm and 2mm sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and 419 diamonds are used, which is the ultimate in luxury. The price is $46,460, and only 20 limited editions are produced on a first-come, first-served basis, after 20, the lucky number in the Maya civilization.
Caviar made RAGNAROK with a flame-flaming skull design for the Z-Fold3, a left and right foldable smartphone. This product is made with no jewels and is available in titanium and enamel, limited edition 99 pieces, priced at $17,770 each. Based on Norse mythology, which is considered to be the same skeleton, it was named after Ragnarok, which means the end of the world. Related information can be found here.
