The F-100 Eluminator is an electric pickup truck concept model unveiled by Ford at SEMA 2021. Two of the latest Illuminator E-Crate motors were mounted on an 80’s F-100 pickup truck.
Ford is selling the motor separately for $3,900 to electrify the classic model, creating a new axis of electrification solutions in the aftermarket market for custom vehicle improvements. Ford plans to develop battery systems, controllers, and traction inverters in the future.
Although the main body is the same as before, it can attract attention as a means to revive a car with a dead engine. It is a powerful motor that produces 281 horsepower and 317 lb.ft of torque. Related information can be found here.
