The DJI Mavic 3 series is a new foldable drone announced by DJI. It features dual cameras, shooting, flight, and transmission performance, and features a cine model equipped with a 1TB SSD.
The biggest change in the DJI Mavic 3 series is that it is equipped with a main 24mm wide-angle and a secondary 28x telephoto camera. This makes it possible to capture not only wide-angle shots as before, but also distant subjects in high-definition. The main camera was designed in partnership with Swedish camera brand Hasselblad.
The shooting specification supports 1 billion color recording by 10-bit D-Log color profile, and 5.1K50p or 4K/120p shooting is possible. In the higher model (DJI Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo), the maximum bit rate of 3772Mbps was realized in response to Apple’s ProRes 422 HQ codec. In addition, a 1TB built-in SSD allows long-term recording and a 10Gbps high-speed data transmission cable can be used.
If you pay attention to the DJI Mavic 3 series flight performance, the maximum flight time is 46 minutes. The maximum transmission distance is 8 km, which has been increased from all models. Altitude control assistance system APAS 5.0 and automatic tracking system ActiveTruck 5.0 are also available. For control and shooting, you can also use the DJI Fly app to use the automatic shooting and editing function Master Shot. Related information can be found here.
