NVIDIA today unveiled the Jetson AGX ORIN, a new AI computer that can be integrated into robots, autonomous machines, medical devices and other devices.
Nvidia has been introducing the Jetson series not only as GPU products but also as small computers. The Jetson AGX Orin delivers 200 TOPS, or 6x more processing power than the previous-generation Jetson AGX Xavier. It can be expected to be used in edge AI and robotics fields such as natural language processing, 3D recognition, and multi-sensor convergence. The computer board maintains the same form factor and pin compatibility as the previous model.
In addition, specific specs include an Ampere architecture GPU and a Cortex-A78AE CPU. It is also equipped with next-generation deep learning accelerators and vision accelerators. Of course, it supports a high-speed interface, faster memory bandwidth, and a variety of sensors.
For example, NVIDIA DRIVE Concierge for autonomous driving can be used in automotive applications. AI assistants can enable autonomous driving while improving the vehicle passenger experience and ensuring safety.
Jetson AGX Orin modules and developer kits will be available in Q1 2022. Related information can be found here.
