China’s Shanghai Automobile Group (SAIC MOTOR) introduced the MAXUS Life Home V90 Villa Edition, a camper that not only protrudes left and right walls, but also has 12.4 m 2 2 floors above it.
The Villa Edition, which can extend the second floor upwards, sleeps mainly in the space above the driver’s seat, and can also be used as a solarium with an observation deck. The surrounding windows can be discolored as dark as sunglasses with LCD technology. The lines on the side of the body, the logo, and the area around the roof are illuminated with LEDs.
Inside the car, there is an L-shaped sofa, a kitchen, an OLED TV, and a touch screen control panel on the wall, and the floor area can be expanded to 65m 2 by pushing the wall outward. You can even go to the second floor by elevator. All of these functions are said to be possible with a smartphone app or through voice and gesture manipulation. Related information can be found here.
