Blue Origin, who actually took William Shatner, the famous actor who played Star Trek Captain Kirk, into space in October, is on its next flight, Alan Shepard, also named New Shepard, astronaut Laura Shepard Cheer, the eldest daughter. It was announced that Laura Shepard Churchley would be aboard.
Michael Strayhan, a former NFL player and MC of the popular American show Good Morning America, was also invited to this flight, and of course, extensive TV coverage is expected. In addition to these two celebrities, Dylan Taylor, CEO of Voyager Space, a holding company specializing in the space industry, Evan Dick, an engineer and investor, Lane Bess, a venture capitalist, and their son, Tre Location activist Cameron Bess and others.
The launch is scheduled for December 9. The broadcast time of Good Morning America was set at 7-9 a.m., which is expected to lead viewers to live delivery through this program.
Blue Origin broke customary law and filed an objection in court against NASA, which gave only one SpaceX lunar lander contract, but lost. In addition, the foothold for the realization of full-scale space flight has not yet been laid. However, proving that the New Shepherd can send manpower into space is clearly gaining experience to realize Bezos’ ambitions, such as the development of the New Glenn rocket and plans to build its own space station in the future.
