Ohio, ready to pay for bitcoin

Ohio, the northeastern state of the United States, is preparing to become the first US state to pay taxes on bitcoins.

According to reports, these efforts will be applied only to corporations, and to individual taxpayers in the future. A company in Ohio will be able to pay all taxes this week with bit coins. The payment will be processed through a cryptographic payment service. The reason Ohio is trying to get this bitcoin taxation is because of the intentions that Ohio would like to lead before the introduction of nationwide cryptography.

State Finance Commissioner Josh Mundell said he believes Bitcoin is a form of legitimate currency, and that efforts on cryptography will continue even after January, when his term ends. He said he could decide to accept digital calls without the approval of Congress and Governor as an elected national official.

Of course, other states in the United States have come up with some legislation to propose cryptograms over the past year, but the state parliament has delayed the final passage. The Arizona House Assembly also passed a tax bill to allow the payment of the cigarette money in May, but the bill had been amended. In February, a bill was filed in cigarettes to pay the state tax and license fees in cryptographic form. It was stopped. For more information, please click here .
