Johns Hopkins University, student card instead of iPhone

Johns Hopkins University of the United States is working with Apple to use the iPhone or Apple watch instead of student card.

J-card, a digital student ID card, is registered in the iPhone Wallet app. You can unlock some doors on campus, print from the library, and buy books at the bookstore. In addition, some offshore companies like Seven-Eleven can buy things. By default, the ExpressCard setting is turned on, so when you use your iPhone or Apple watch in a card reader, you can use it in the same way as a card setup in Wallet.

Of course, you can disable the ExpressCard setting if you value security. In this case, biometrics like Apple Pay.
