BRUSSELS, France (Reuters) – France’s finance minister is urging other EU members to adopt the same cryptographic rules as their own,
Brunei Rumer has appealed for adoption of the law passed by the French parliament recently. They are asking for cryptographic issuers and sellers to establish a base in France and collecting taxes properly from them. He said that the aim is to attract the cryptographic business in France and that he is proposing by a European partner to create a regulatory framework for cryptographic assets and that he believes that his model is right as it is based on experience in France.
France is known to be the most active country in cryptographic regulation among EU countries. There was a report that the French parliament passed a bill to allow the insurance companies to invest in ICOs on April 11th. For more information, please click here .
