It is expected that Nvidia will focus on Shield TV, a set-top box dedicated to games. A new form factor will be adopted for the next-generation model known to be under development.
According to foreign media, the next-generation Shield TV, known under the code name’mDarcy’, previously discovered in FCC regulations, is expected to be an updated version of the Shield TV released in 2017. Inside, a new Tegra X1 processor (Tegra X1 t210b01) that boosts performance and power saving is mounted, and a new controller and remote control are likely to appear at the same time.
In addition, the Shield Experience 8.0 update code has also been found in another next Shield TV, the codename’Sif’. There is no TV tuner or USB port, but an SD card slot is added instead. Of course, the new Tegra X1 processor is expected to be installed here as well.

Details may have been omitted, but it seems that it will be a simple rectangular parallelepiped device in the illustration. These next-generation shielded TVs are expected to be announced during CES 2020, which will be held early next year.
