Tesla is supplying fast charger superchargers worldwide to spread its electric vehicles.
According to Tesla, the amount of power supplied per month using a supercharger is 72 GWh. Considering the fact that it was 10GWh at the time of 2014, it can be seen that it has increased as the number of Tesla vehicles increased. However, this is only about quick charging, so it will be more if you include regular charging.
72GWh may not make sense, but this is equivalent to 3 days’ worth of electricity consumed in Hawaii and 1 day’s worth of electricity consumed in Ireland. It means that Hawaii or national power is being focused on Tesla vehicles around the world.
The Supercharger currently has 14,087 units installed in 1,617 stations. In the future, the installation of the supercharger V3 with more enhanced functions is scheduled to proceed. Related information can be found here .
