Google has begun offering a Swipe to Visit feature that allows you to quickly view the site when searching for images on mobile devices.
Usually, when you select an image in Google image search, it switches to the site. However, when you select an image in Swipe to Visit, the site header is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Swipe it up to display the AMP page. You can also swipe down from the top of the AMP page to return to the original search results.
Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) is a standard that accelerates the display of mobile websites promoted by Google. Not only does it display pure websites, but it’s also been used recently in Gmail to display dynamic emails. This feature was announced at Google I/O in May. To display swipe-to-visit, the desired site must support AMP. It is expected that the user’s convenience will be high as it can quickly display image search results and posted sites.
This feature will be expanded sequentially, and there is a possibility that it will be pre-released to US users only. Related information can be found here .
