Google ended its travel planning guide app, Google Trips, on August 5. Of course, the app is no longer available, but the same functionality is available on the web through Google Travel or Google Maps.
Google Trips is an app launched in 2016. It was possible to display the reservation information that arrived in G-mail on the Google Calendar, but Google Trips collected it in one place to organize the travel itinerary and display the travel tourism information to support the function to efficiently plan travel.
Google did not disclose the reason for the termination of the app service, but it seems that it has decided that a dedicated app is not needed as the same functions can be used in Google Search, Google Travel, and Google Maps on the browser. In addition to the ability to check, add, and edit Google Trips memos on Google Travel in the near future, you can also check reservation information for each trip on Google Maps. It is said to be automatically downloaded and available offline.
