Microsoft the Musical is a musical that allows Microsoft interns to learn about Microsoft’s history by producing songs, dances, performances, and composition all by themselves using their spare time during the summer internship. The melody, song, and dance that seem familiar to the ears are not only high-level, but also show their love for Microsoft and also criticize Windows Phone.
The musical begins with a sketch of ideas in it. They say that the old world was a different world from now, but they say that there was a dream to change the world. There was a young man with bad eyes but with a crystal clear vision, and he says that when he talks his idea to his colleagues, he doesn’t have an explanation of the product, but he eventually changed the world. Of course, his name is Bill Gates.
The filming location for this musical is inside Microsoft. The members who actually sing and dance are also Microsoft interns and company employees in the summer of 2019. The interns made this musical with the help of staff, taking spare time during the summer, such as dawn or weekend nights.
Looking at the musical, what happens here is not a simple dream. In the era when personal computers were born, Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint appeared, and the appearance of the office changed significantly. When Microsoft products are known all over the world, the expression “except for” appears only when trying to make a phone (Windows phone). Anyway, everything that happens here has become the standard for offices.
A woman who says that the competition for the future will be determined by reality dances with Microsoft HoloLens. Microsoft Azure, called the spine of Microsoft, expresses with tap dance and stands with an umbrella called the cloud.
After the didactic lines often found in musical films that there are no special materials and everyone will have their own success, the end with lines and dances that a gadget has given power to each person on the planet and maximized their dreams to change the world.
