Electric SUV Pisker Ocean to enter mass production in 2020

Fisker, an electric vehicle manufacturer in the United States, announced in March that it would launch an electric SUV in 2021. This time, the new product name will be Ocean, and on January 4, 2020, a new fully functional EV modality prototype will be presented. This scene will also be live streaming.

Ocean will provide solar panels throughout the roof, which will enable it to generate 1,600km of electricity per year. Using an 80kWh battery, the range is 400 to 480 km, so it is possible to make 3 to 4 times by itself. It may be said that the level per unit is not very effective, but the more these vehicles are sold, the greater the energy savings can be. Other parts of the interior and carpet are said to be made of marine waste recycling materials.

Pisker plans to launch the mobile app on November 27th, and through this app, it will proceed with the application of its own vehicle rental contract or early contract. Details such as price will be announced at the same time as the application is released. Pisker said Ocean’s price would be under $40,000.

Mass production of the vehicle is expected within the year 2021, and delivery begins in 2022. If you live in the United States and are looking for an inexpensive electric SUV, Ocean’s might be a consideration. Meanwhile, Tesla’s Model Y, which will become Ocean’s rival, is expected to start production in the summer of 2020. Related information can be found here .
