Ala Moderaft House is a pioneer in Cinebistro, starting in 1997 in Austin, Texas, where you can watch movies while enjoying meals and drinks. It currently operates 41 theaters across the United States.
You can choose between $14.99, $19.99, and $29.99. The cheapest $14.99 per month plan is only available at New Braunfels, Texas. You can get a $5 discount if you watch at theaters in other locations. The $19.99 plan is available at 11 locations in the area and $10 discount tickets are available at other local theaters. The most expensive $29.99 plan added LA, New York and San Francisco as coverage areas.
The discount applies to up to 4 people, so it is helpful when watching movies with family or friends who are not subscribed to the service. Reservations are made up to 7 days before the scheduled viewing date, and up to 4 reserved seats are available.
AMC, the largest movie theater chain in the United States, offers a service that allows you to watch up to three movies a week for $20-24 per month. Several chains are introducing subscription services, such as Legal Cinema, which provides unlimited services that you can watch freely for $18-23.50 per month.
