The Artemis plan is a project by NASA to send humanity back to the moon by 2024. Now, it is said that they have started recruiting astronauts who want to go to Mars in the future with the International Space Station ISS.
According to the conditions laid down by NASA, you must first be a U.S. citizen and have completed two years of research for a doctoral program in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, or have completed a doctorate in medicine, massage therapy, or doctorate in medicine. In addition, you must have at least two years of relevant professional experience and at least 1,000 hours of experience in jets. Up to now, the number of NASA training astronaut candidates since the 1960s is 350. There are 48 astronauts currently active. It means that if there are 350 people for 60 years from 1960 to 2020, only less than 6 candidates can be candidates a year. It must be a narrow gate.
