Sandcastle beta, a tool that lets you jailbreak your iPhone and run the Android operating system, is out.
Sandcastle is a tool (checkra1n) based on a jailbreaking method that exploits a boot ROM vulnerability called Checkm8, which allows access to the old AniPhone bootrom and install the Android operating system on the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. .
In the beta stage, Sandcastle only supports the iPhone 7 series, and even if Android is running, cameras, Bluetooth, and mobile communication are not available. Reportedly, it is not responding to Sandcastle, but points out that forensic research is not only developed by Sandcastle, but also temporarily booting into a second operating system can be done on a smartphone. An example is how to use iOS and temporarily boot the Android operating system to handle confidential information, then restart to completely delete the partition.
You can download Sandcastle, but don’t forget that it’s your responsibility and it’s worth remembering that it can cause far more problems than a regular jailbreak. Related information can be found here .
