Guardian G-Volt Graphene Breathing Mask is a mechanical antibacterial mask that has been developed and completed for 5 years to sterilize with electricity. The filter of this product is an antibacterial laser-induced graphene product that is difficult to access by bacteria. When the auxiliary battery is connected to the USB terminal next to the mask, a low charge flows into the mask to sterilize bacteria or viruses on the fiber.
According to the developer, this product is 99% effective against particles larger than 0.3 microns. It can be reused many times and the replacement time is notified by a light through the LED. However, it is not recommended to wash the mask after replacement, and it is better to sterilize it by connecting a USB at home or apply an antibacterial spray.
The mask is said to be being tested at Ben Gurion University in Israel and Rice University in the United States. When conducting an experiment, the research team explained that it was found that the bacteria sandwiched between two electrodes were attracted to death by one electrode and led to the development of this product.
