Harley-Davidson supports Android Auto

Harley-Davidson announced Android Auto support for its existing motorcycles. Accordingly, this function is expected to be available from this summer.

Android Auto is a navigation operating system developed by Google that enables functions such as Google Maps, music playback, messages, and phone calls to be used in the car system. From 2016, it has been made available on smartphones as individual apps. Apple is also releasing CarPlay, an operating system for the same vehicle system.

Harley-Davidson supports Android Auto. Touring, Trike, CVO model BOOM! Box, which was introduced since 2014, is a model equipped with GTS infotainment system. Android auto installation can be done directly or through a dealership. In addition, for Touring, Trike, and CVO models after 2021, Android Auto will be installed if the product is equipped with the above infotainment system.

Harley-Davidson has been supporting CarPlay since mid-2018. The motorcycle industry is also expected to gradually increase the number of models that support Android Auto and CarPlay. Related information can be found here .
