Amazon Music Introduces Data Analysis App for Artists

On March 16 (local time), Amazon started providing a data analysis app for artists (Amazon Music for Artists).

This service allows the artist delivering the music to check data such as how long his song has been played on Amazon Music. In addition to the music playback time including real-time streaming data, you can view various analysis data such as where there are many people who enjoy playing their music.

The app also supports a tool called The Daily Voice Index, a tool that analyzes voice requests using Alexa. For example, it helps you to know in detail whether there are the most voice requests in the title, whether there are many voice requests that directly address the artist, or if there are many lyrics.

According to Amazon, this data is expected to be used for promotion and marketing. Other music streaming services, such as Apple Music and Spotify, already have analytics apps for artists, but the emergence of a new analysis called voice request analysis could be a means of helping artists make better promotions.

This app supports iOS 11.2 or Android 5 or higher and is available for free. It can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Related information can be found here .
