Chinese gaming smartphone with 144Hz screen

Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE in China, has launched Red Magic 5G, a gaming smartphone. This product is equipped with a 144Hz drive display for the first time in a smartphone.

Red Magic 5G has a 6.65-inch AMOLED display that supports full HD resolution. Until now, products such as the Galaxy S20 series or the gaming smartphone Razer Phone have adopted a 120Hz drive display, but it has further increased to 144Hz. The screen provides a 240Hz touch sampling rate to support smooth operation.

On the side of the body, a capacitive button is mounted, and touch is read at a sampling rate of 300Hz. On the back, not only a fingerprint sensor but also an RGB light is installed, so you can enjoy the game. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and you can choose from 8, 12, or 16GB of RAM. The built-in storage space can be selected from 128GB or 256GB that supports UFS 3.0. The rear is equipped with a 64 megapixel, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle, and 2 megapixel macro camera, and its battery capacity is 4,500mAh and supports 55W fast charging.

The price ranges from 3,799 yuan to 4,999 yuan. Compared to the high-end display and SoC mounted, it can be said to be inexpensive. It will start selling in China from mid-March and will be put into the global market in April. Related information can be found here .
