IFA 2020 “Contemplating holding in a different form from now”

IFA announced that IFA 2020 will no longer be held in its present form.

IFA is an IT exhibition held every September. This year, heavy events such as MWC, Google I/O, and E3 have been canceled or postponed due to the corona 19 effect. However, until recently, the IFA was planning to hold it as scheduled for the end of September.

However, as large-scale gatherings of more than 5,000 people gathered in Berlin, the venue, were banned until October 24th, and the existing form was abandoned. For reference, 240,000 people visited the venue during the IFA 2019 period in 2019.

However, the German Home Appliances, Communications and Electronics Association (GFU) and Messe Berlin, which host the IFA, have been discussing how to replace them over the past few weeks. The plan is to promote the IFA’s grtla function in different forms, such as a showcase for technological innovation, a meeting place for brands, manufacturing, and media. Specific details will be announced in the near future.
