Spotify showcases artist fundraising function

Spotify unveiled a feature (Artist Fundraising Pick) that allows artists who signed up for its service at the end of April to raise money from their profile page.

On March 25, Spotify announced a project to financially support artists facing difficulties due to the impact of Corona 19. In addition to donation activities to organizations that support artists, they also announced the addition of a feature that they directly raise money and implemented this time after one month. As a result, artists who have signed up for Spotify can start fundraising without complicated processes using their own fundraising tool. In addition to raising money for yourself, you can also raise funds for charity projects sponsored by Spotify for other artists in need.

Spotify also raises a $1 million fund to support artists, and if one raises through this add-on, it deposits $100 of its own funds into the account. In other words, in addition to raising fans, the support fund also provides support.

The $100 deposit system from the Artist Support Fund is currently limited to American and British artists. However, fundraising itself can be conducted anywhere in the world. Related information can be found here .
