NASA has completed flight readiness screening, saying it has entered the final stage of the first manned launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon. Corona 19 is still serious in the United States, but in the midst of this, it is expected that the first US-made spacecraft will send astronauts into space since the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011.
NASA said it had thoroughly re-checked the risks across all systems and that it had been screened to confirm flight readiness in good form. Accordingly, the launch on May 27 (local time) was unanimously approved. NASA said that NASA and the SpaceX team have been well on a long and difficult path, and it cannot be said how proud they are for their hard work, dedication and patience a few days before launch.
The Crude Dragon spacecraft, which will take the astronauts to the International Space Station ISS, has already been mounted on the Falcon 9 rocket and is preparing for the entire launch process at the Kennedy Space Center 39 launch facility. If there is no problem in the screening before the final launch, the launch will proceed at 16:33 on the 27th.
This launch is the first manned test launch of the Crew Dragon. The mission name is Demo-2, and two astronauts will board and dock at the ISS. At the launch on the 27th, there were reports that President Trump was also visiting and considering watching this. Related information can be found here .
