Provided through open AI, AI language model API

OpenAI has released an API that allows you to use an AI model using GPT-3, a next-generation sentence generation language model. Using this, you can integrate products with OpenAI AI models or develop new application programs using AI models.

The API to be introduced by OpenAI allows you to obtain complementary sentences by providing arbitrary sentences with specific patterns. It uses the GPT-3 product family and is designed so that anyone can use it easily. A demo video of manipulating Accel using API is also released. When you enter a topic and run the API, the header in the entered topic is automatically completed, and the table contents can be automatically supplemented.

The API introduced this time will be sold as a product to secure sufficient R&D funding. It also revealed that the reason for the release of AI as an API rather than as an open source is to secure research funding and provide large-scale AI foundations to small organizations, and to facilitate responses to technology misuse. As Open AI also acknowledges that GPT-3, the language model, has prejudice, it also revealed that it wants to conduct research in cooperation with users.
