AirCar is a flying car that transforms from a car to an airplane in three minutes, developed by Slovak car manufacturer Klein Vision.
In general vehicle conditions, it looks like any other car with a large rear wing. When the plane begins to transform, the rear wing extends behind the vehicle body, and the wings inside the rear body expand upward and expand left and right. Inside the rear wing is a propeller.
The propeller starts as it rotates. In addition to the steering wheel, various instrument panels and levers are located in the driver’s seat. Take off when the pilot pulls the steering wheel upward.
The air car is a two-seater model that can fly at a speed of 200 km/h and is said to have an estimated range of 1,000 km. However, a 300m runway is required for takeoff. Kleinvision CEO Stephen Klein said that for the first flight of an air car, the key flight parameters have been verified with all the theoretical concepts and calculation accuracy underlying the development of the air car.
Aircar has yet to announce its price, but it says it already has pre-orders. The company is said to have already begun developing a three to four-seater model and an amphibious model. Related information can be found here .
