Spectacles 3 is a new AR sunglasses announced by Snap, who runs Snapchat. The third-generation model is expected to be released in November and is priced at $380. Considering that the previous model was $150, the price has more than doubled.
Like its predecessor, this product allows you to easily take a photo or video by pressing a button on the sunglasses. The added function is that it has a second camera. HD cameras were placed on both eyes. This made it possible to measure the depth. Thanks to this, you can take 3D photos using parallax using this product. Since depth information is recorded even in video shooting, various AR effects can be added.
Photos are recorded at 1642×1642, and videos are recorded at 1216×1216 resolution. As before, you can charge it using the sunglasses case, and you can take 70 videos and 200 photos with a single charge for 75 minutes. The capacity is 4GB, and it can hold 100 videos and 1,200 photos.
