Windows 10X is an operating system for dual-screen devices that Microsoft announced in October last year, and the device was scheduled to be released later this year. Of course, it seems that we need to wait a little longer for the release of the dual screen device.
Panos Panay, Microsoft Chief Product Development Officer, updated its official blog on May 4 (local time) and announced that it will focus on single-screen Windows 10X and launch the device as a Windows 10X-equipped product for the first time. Although it did not specifically mention when to release the dual-screen version, it is likely that the end of 2020, originally planned, will pass by saying that we are continuing to find the right time to put it into the market in cooperation with OEM partners.
Rumors that the launch of the dual-screen Windows 10X or the Surface Neo equipped with it will be in 2021 has also been reported in April. Windows 10X, which was developed on the premise of dual screen support, will be introduced from a single screen, but the interface is also different from the existing Windows 10, and interest may be drawn to see what effect it will have.
Microsoft plans to hold the annual developer conference, Build, online from May 19 to 21. Details of the Surface Neo launch schedule and a single display device with Windows 10X will be made on the spot. Related information can be found here .
