Samsung Electronics announced the Smart Monitor, a smart TV.
Smart monitor is a smart TV with Tizen as an operating system. By supporting Wireless DeX, you can create or edit office documents using a keyboard or mouse in connection with a Galaxy smartphone. Not only that, but it also supports AirPlay 2, so you can cast content from Apple products. Of course, as it is a smart TV, you can also search and use video streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and YouTube.
Smart monitors are equipped with the M5, a 27-inch and 32-inch models that support full HD resolution, and the M7, a 32-inch model that supports Ultra HD resolution. The M5 costs $230 and $280, while the M7 costs $400. The M5 will be available in November and the M7 will be available in the US from early December. Related information can be found here .
