DiA Imaging Analysis is an Israel-based AI health tech startup. It uses deep learning and machine learning to automate total acoustic scan analysis.
The company recently raised $14 million in a Series B round. As a result, the cumulative procurement amount has reached $25 million. Through this procurement, the company plans to continue expanding its product range, establishing partnerships with ultrasound vendors, PACS/Healthcare IT companies, and resellers, while strengthening its market penetration.
The Imaging Analytics is selling AI-enabled support software to clinicians and healthcare workers to help capture and analyze ultrasound images. Manually performing this process requires a human expert to visually interpret the scan data. The Imaging Analytics emphasizes that its AI technology removes the subjectivity from manual or visual estimation procedures.
It trains AI that evaluates ultrasound images to automatically identify critical details and detect abnormalities, and offers a wide range of products for a variety of clinical needs related to ultrasound analysis, including those focused on the heart. Cardiac-related products include software that supports the detection of coronary artery disease in addition to measurement and analysis of aspect ratios such as rescue rate and right gonad size and function. There are also products that use ultrasound data to automate bladder volume measurement.
According to Dia Imaging Analytics, the company’s AI software mimics the way the human eye detects boundaries and recognizes movement, leading to advances beyond subjective human analysis, and improving speed and efficiency. The company’s software tools are tools that assist clinicians in obtaining the correct images and interpreting ultrasound data.
The Imaging Analytics AI-based analytics are currently available in 20 markets, including North America and Europe. We are working with our channel partners to develop a market development strategy, and our channel partners provide our software in the form of additions to our ultrasound systems or PACS systems.
