Microsoft Edge for Linux released

The Linux version of Microsoft Edge, a Chromium-based web browser developed by Microsoft, was officially released after a year of beta operation.

Linux Version Microsoft Edge is compatible with most major distributions, and Microsoft provides installers in two file formats (deb and rpm) for Linux on the Microsoft Edge download page. It can be installed using the package manager adopted by each Linux distribution.

In the Linux version of Microsoft Edge, you can use most of the functions available with the Windows or macOS version of Microsoft Edge, such as passwords, extensions, bookmarks, and tab synchronization. According to the report, for Linux users who need to use Windows for work, it is useful to have a browser that can synchronize data with each other.

Currently, the most used web browser in the world is Google Chrome. So, a Chromium-based Microsoft Edge like Chrome should be able to view most of the website. Also, I heard that Microsoft Edge is compatible with most of the Chrome extensions as an advantage. Related information can be found here.

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
