Russia, Block Chain Regulation Sandbox in 3 Cities

Russia has conducted a regulatory sandbox on cryptographic and block-chain technology in three areas, including Moscow.

According to the report, the regulated sandboxes are located in Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Perm. It aims to promote the implementation of the latest technologies such as block chain and cryptography, augmented reality and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

In Russia, cryptographic techniques such as cryptographic transactions and mining, and activities related to block chains are still not regulated. The Russian parliament has recently delayed deliberation on the digital financial assets, but President Putin has ordered the industry to adopt regulations on July 1.
