Amazon is developing wearable reading emotions?

Amazon has been developing a wearable device that can recognize people’s feelings. According to an internal document from Bloomberg Communications, code-named Dylan is being co-developed by Alexa voice software team and Lab 126, a hardware group that develops Amazon echo.

Wearable wearable on the wrist is used to pair with the smartphone, and the wearer’s voice may suggest ways to identify emotions and communicate effectively with others. Amazon also has a patent that allows users to read their health and feelings when they speak to Alexa. For example, if you think you have a cold in your voice, it suggests buying a cough syrup or cooking a chicken soup.

Dylan is described as a product in the Health & Wellness category and is likely to be associated with the patent. It looks like you are already in beta, but you do not know if your test includes all of the hardware and emotion reading software. In addition, it may not be considered actual sales as it is for simple experiment purposes.

As Alexa voice talks directly with people, there is a possibility that the privacy issue is raised, but if the emotional reading is realized, the response may also be more humane. If you say that you are hungry with a tired voice, you can not only give a recipe but you can also give a business trip or put a coffee maker switch if you are sleepy. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
