Game Builder, through Google’s in-house venture incubation program Area 120, enables 3D games to be developed without programming knowledge.
Game Builder is a game that can be played for free on Windows and Mac, and in fact, it was previously released through Steam, but it has undergone significant updates.
Game Builder allows you to build stages by stacking 3D objects. It looks like Minecraft, but the objects handled are not limited to cube blocks but are diverse. Of course, you can search various 3D models through Google Poly and place them with one click.
Game builders can apply online to create a stage with their friends, or invite friends to play with them on the stage they have created. What you can decide yourself is not limited to the stage. Even without programming knowledge, you can do things like special effects directly on stage. If a special effect is given in such a way that it will explode if it collides, it can cause an explosion if the character collides.
Almost every element in the game can be set to motion or special effects using JavaScript. Because JavaScript is reflected in the game in real time, you can immediately see the result of your own code. You can also learn JavaScript through Game Builder. Related information can be found here .
