Slack Connect “It is also possible to share external companies and organizations”

Slack announced Slack Connect, a new feature that enhances communication with outside the organization. Accordingly, one Slack channel can be shared by up to 20 companies or organizations. Interactions with external companies such as subsidiaries and suppliers can also be incorporated into Slack.

Slack Connect improves productivity by allowing customers, suppliers and partners to interact with one centralized chat-based interface. Using Google Calendar together makes it easy to set up meetings across organizations. Communication between these organizations is likely to have security issues, but according to Slack, it meets the standards for enterprise-level security, data retention, and compliance.

Communication within the organization is being replaced by chat apps including Slack, but e-mail and phone calls are still an important part of communication with outside the organization.
