Monowheel motorcycle aimed at Guinness record

A research team at Duke University, which includes Tesla’s technical team and active SpaceX engineers, created the EV360, an EV monowheel motorcycle that runs at a top speed of 112km/h. It was originally aimed at the Guinness record, but the challenge was postponed due to the Corona 19 epidemic.

Anyway, the monowheel motorcycle featured in science fiction movies has a history of over 100 years, with the appearance of the monowheel type in 1904 even in the era of gasoline cars that first appeared in the 1860s. Of course, it is cool, but it has not been put into practical use because it has a poor balance between front and rear, and gives the feeling of a precarious ride. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
